Parents & Carers
The Early Help service provides integrated support to children, young people and their families. The service is there to offer practical advice, support and direct case work to prevent issues escalating and requiring statutory intervention.
This service brings together direct work, community provision and community capacity building across five collaboratives in a needs-led, flexible and coordinated approach. The model has been developed to ensure long term sustainability and community empowerment, with an aim for families to be helped at the earliest point, improving children and young people’s life chances and reducing demand for crisis services.
The Solihull Partnership published Solihull’s Early Help Strategy, setting out the vision, principles and the priorities for change in order to develop Solihull’s Early Help system.
